The Darjeeling Limited
Three siblings who don’t get along with each other reunite for a train trip across India. They haven’t spoken to each other over a year, since their father passed away. Francis (Owen Wilson) is recovering from a motorcycle accident, Peter (Adrien Brody) cannot cope with his wife’s pregnancy, and Jack (Jason Schwartzman) cannot get over his ex-lover. The brothers fall into old patterns of behavior as Francis reveals the real reason for the reunion: to visit their mother in a Himalayan convent. Directed by Wes Anderson the film is a treat for the eyes!

The movie is set in Goa, Bombay and Australia. The started a cult among the youngsters of India to plan a Goa trip post their graduation. The movie has gone on to become to watermark the whole Bollywood bromance scenario.

A Walk In The Woods
After years of living in Britain, celebrated travel writer Bill Bryson returns to New Hampshire. But instead of retiring, the 60-year-old announces he’s going to hike over two thousand miles along the Appalachian Trail. Along with him comes his friend Stephen Katz, who despite his appearance insists on coming along. He is an unhealthy alcohol who is on the run from something. Shot largely across Amicalola Falls State Park, in Dawsonville, Georgia the movie includes hilarious bickering between the two protagonists. There’s no drama, just a pleasant hike through shared memories and the craving for a last adventure.

The movie is about Che Guevara who set out on motorcycle tour with his friend before his political career took off. Ernesto “Che” Guevara travels with his friend Alberto to from Brazil to Peru and witness great disparities in South America. His experiences from the journey transform his outlook towards life and teach him many valuable experiences of life as well. The writers of the film refused to showcase the myth of Che and instead focus on the awakening of one young man’s sympathies as he undertakes a difficult spiritual and physical journey. The director and cinematographer put together a small team and visited the shoot location beforehand to make sure they don’t miss out on any scenic visuals for the film!

Jack Nicholson and Morgan Freeman star as two terminally ill men left with only six months to live, decide to explore life and make a bucket list comprising all the things they have never tried before. They go skydiving, drive Shelby Mustangs around Auto Club Speedway, fly over the North Pole, eat dinner at Chevre d’or in France, visit and praise the Taj Mahal, ride motorcycles on the Great Wall of China, attend a lion safari in Tanzania, and visit Mount Everest in Nepal. A Spanish comedy film which revolves around Tocho (Hovik Keuchkerian), who is a rude alcoholic; Jean Pierre (Jean Reno), who was once a womanizer; and Ely (Susana Abaitua). They are all travelling from Spain to Ely’s father Joseba (Enrique San Francisco) who lives in Tombuctu, Mali, and is on his deathbed. They decided to travel there by using Ely’s father’s old car, a car they used to do road trips on. The movie is a culmination of thoughts about life, death, world and people, rediscovering the pleasure to be alive and the second chances.
