1. Get organized:

Every time we are intimidated by work, we tend to procrastinate. To avoid such situations, set simple and achievable goals.

3. Create a schedule:

After setting your goals, create a timeline to complete them. Dividing a large assignment into smaller parts makes it more manageable.

4. Set a deadline:

Stop procrastinating. It is important to set a specific date for when you want your goals to me accomplished.

5. Get rid of distractions:

It is essential to eliminate all distractions so that you don’t get sidetracked in the middle of your assignment. These could include anything like social media networking sites, or any other external source.

6. Time yourself:

When there are too many assignments, it is important to time yourself so that you don’t exhaust yourself.

7. Take a break:

In order to break the monotony, take a break or a short walk, stretch your legs, listen to some relaxing music, or anything which allows your mind to relax.

8. Use incentives:

It is important to give yourself incentives and strategies for overcoming procrastination. As these motivate you to complete your assignment on time. The incentives could be as simple as watching an episode of your favourite program.

9. Complete the daunting task first:

Doing the hard task first is the toughest, and may want you to procrastinate even further. However, the truth is that once you get over the hard part, the rest is smooth sailing and also takes lesser time.

10. Share your goal with someone:

It is very easy to forget about assignments or just to simply put them off. This way someone else is holding you accountable and will not let you shy away from achieving your goals. To top it all, once you actually achieve your goals, you have someone to celebrate that particular victory with.

11. Just do it:

The best way to accomplish something is to just do it. No matter how much planning and strategizing you do, you will not accomplish anything unless you get down to doing it.
