Continuing its legacy, the India Craft Week (ICW) is back with its second edition!
Bringing to you the country’s finest artists and craftwork. Germinated by the Nari Shakti 2019 awardee, designer Iti Tyagi, ICW aims to create a harmonious ecosystem for the people of craft, where skilled craft-people, independent makers and contemporary brands can narrate their untold stories.
The five-day event is taking place in close vicinity to Delhi Airport in Aerocity.
The Craft Village is essentially a social enterprise, which works for the revival and upliftment of crafts and craftsperson, through several workshops, events, and awareness programs.
ICW has gained more than 10000+ Urban and Global population with the help of Rare and Exclusive Craft Workshops, including learners from countries like Singapore, Indonesia, USA, UK, Netherlands, Poland, Mexico, Japan, Europe, and many more.
“Mrs. Iti Tyagi has set up craft village for training and promotion of Craft of India to the world, and to bridge the gap between rural and urban communities. It has proved to be an innovative approach to bring new talent and connecting traditional craft with modern consumers,” says Honourable President of India, Shri Ram Nath Kovind.
