  3. It is not ok for others to belittle or shame you. You should recognize these unhealthy dynamics and ask them to stop.
  4. Spend time with people who respect you. These people will not put pressure on you to conform.
  5. You cannot and do not have to please everyone!
  6. If your peers are pressurizing you into something, try the ‘delay’ tactic. Do not think of an immediate answer, but ask for some time to think.
  7. When you can’t avoid a pressure-filled situation, learn to say NO.
