The lockdown rules might prevent you from attending these in person, but here’s the good news, most of these events are going to be live-streamed. Indian Premier League – IPL
Cricket has a major fan base especially in India, and IPL is a big deal! The news that IPL is scheduled to start on 19 September was bitter-sweet news for the cricket fans. The matches are to be conducted with only the players and authorities present in the stadium. Though the feeling might not be the same without the scores of fans cheering on, you need not miss out on all the fun either. You can live stream the game on all the major TV channels. NBA Playoffs
One of the most awaited basketball playoffs. It had started off as usual in March and then had to be cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic and restarted in late July, taking all the precautions necessary. It’s being played in the closed bubble in the ESPN Wide World of Sports complex, inside Disney World in Orlando, Florida. The NBA playoffs will continue through this season to see who will be crowned the champions in 2020.

Tour de France
Cycling’s biggest event Tour de France is also going to be live-streamed in the wake of the current pandemic situation. The three-week race is about half-way done. The fight for the prestigious Yellow jersey will be fierce as it draws closer and the cyclists have already faced difficult weather conditions. Though the live stream might not be similar to standing on the side-line and cheering them on, it most certainly is the next best alternative and we must make the best of it.

Monterey Jazz Festival
The most anticipated jazz festival, Monterey Jazz Festival 2020, with amazing line-up features, is definitely a must not miss event in 2020. This three-day-long Jazz music festival is also going to be live-streamed on the Monterey Jazz Festival’s YouTube Channel from 25-27 of September 5-7 Pm Pacific Time Zone. And the best part? One hundred percent of online contributions collected is going to be donated to the Thurgood Marshal College Fund, The NAACP Legal Defense and Educational Fund, and to the Jazz artists featured at the Virtual Festival. A delightful digital festival, Notting Hill Carnival explores dance, drama, music, and many other incredible performances during the carnival season. The carnival was scheduled from 29-31 August 2020 but was cancelled due to the current pandemic situation. But many of the events are happening online and are an absolute delight to attend.
