Hyderabad Will Be The Home To The World’s Largest Meditation Centre

The global headquarters of the Heartfulness Institute and the world’s largest meditation centre will be inaugurated today, on 28 January. The Heartfulness Institute in Hyderabad has been a pioneer for meditation and mindfulness. Marking the 75th Anniversary of the organisation, Kanha Shantivanam will be dedicated to the first guide of Heartfulness, fondly referred to as Lalaji by the present global guide Daaji.

The popular Yoga Guru, Ramdev Baba, will be present on the occasion and address 40,000 ‘abhyasis’.

The centre will be 40 kilometers from Hyderabad and spread over 30 acres. It will comprise of one central and eight secondary halls, that can accommodate 10,000 practitioners in one go.

Three-day sessions will be conducted during January 28 -30, February 2-4, and February 7-9, and will host 1.2 lakh practitioners as a part of the mass mediation activity that commemorates the milestone of 75 years. Hon’ble President of India Ramnath Kovind and Anna Hazare will address the practitioners on February 2 and 7, respectively.
