Bezos and his wife, MacKenzie Bezos have finally decided to separate after a partnership of 25 years. Jeff and MacKenzie married in 1993 and soon after, in 1994, Jeff established the e-commerce giant, Amazon. While Jeff Bezos is the world’s richest man, MacKenzie herself boasts a successful career too. She was a creative writing major at Princeton as she assisted Toni Morrison, one of the highly influential writers. In 2005, MacKenzie published her first novel, The Testing of Luther Albright, and went on to receive the American Book Award for the same.
