All the energy of our body is contained in the seven chakras. By keeping every chakra awake and balanced, you can remain mentally and physically healthy. For this, it is necessary that you are aware of all the chakras and the means of awakening them.
This is the second most important cycle after the Muladhara Chakra is the Swadhisthana Chakra. This Chakra is located just below the navel. It is orange in colour and semi-crescent shaped. This chakra is responsible for your artistic energy. It also determines how you connect with your feelings and those of others. The Swadhisthana Chakra is called the religious Chakra or the abdominal Chakra. The six lotus petals are symbolically represented in this Chakra. Each petal represents six negative features. The element of the Swadhisthana Chakra is water and it is related to liquidity.
Herbs To Balance The Health Cycle
When this chakra is balanced, you are better able to express yourself emotionally and artistically. But when this chakra becomes unbalanced, it is difficult to adapt to changes along with emotional instability. Digestive and reproductive problems can occur due to blocked and hyperactive health cycles. This cycle can be balanced by the use of a herb called Damiana. This herb relaxes the nervous system. You can burn the ylang-ylang herb which increases the flow of love and passion.
Ways To Awaken The Swadhisthan Chakra
Aromatherapy
Aromatherapy has powerful healing properties, which rekindle your artistic sense. To awaken this cycle, burn things like cardamom, eucalyptus, chamomile, patchouli, ylang-ylang, rose or clary sage.
Repeat Positive Thoughts
Repeating positive thoughts changes our way of thinking and we start thinking in a new way. So, repeat things like,
– The sweetness of life flows in me and I enjoy it.
– Inspiration and creativity flow in me.
– My emotions flow freely and are balanced.
– I adopt happiness and abundance.
– Every day I experience more happiness and satisfaction.
Asanas That Stabilise The Health Cycle
Yogasanas connect the body with spirituality. Balancing the mind and body during a posture, focusing on the breaths relieves stress. Utkat Konasana, Budh Konasana, Anand Balasana and Squats balance the Swadhisthana Chakra.
Water Logging
The Swadhisthana Chakra is associated with the water element and it is related to our flow with change. You can connect with it by spending more time with water such as swimming, sitting on the beach or taking a relaxing bath in the river.
When this chakra is balanced, you keep away from feelings like fear, jealousy, and laziness.
