Celebrating India’s rich culture, the second edition of Arth: A Culture Fest, is to be held in Delhi from February 21 to 23, 2020. Enjoy a range of exciting performances, panel discussions and art installations at this event.
The festival aims to Rediscover, Reconnect with and Revisit India through art, culture, literature, politics, and society. It celebrates the essence of Indian thought and philosophy by bringing together close to 200 scholars, writers, artists, and artisans from across India and the globe as participants. In its second edition, this year, there are various activities, including cultural performances, workshops, visual art installations, live art, and more. Exclusive sessions have been curated for children, which will comprise of creative workshops.
An initiative by ZEE, the festival has an interesting line-up with performances across various genres. Legendary artistes such as Bhai Manohar Singh, Euphoria, Gurdas Mann, Kumar Vishwas, Mame Khan, Mohana Krishnan, Sinam Basu Singh, Qutbi Brothers, and Shubha Mudgal will perform at the event. There’s also a performance by Nartaki Natraj, the first transwoman to receive the Padma Award. Also, there will be several workshops that you can participate in. Chittara painting, Pichwai painting, Bagru painting, Sanjhi Art, Moonj Grass Weaving, Clay Pottery, are only some of them among others.
Shreyasi Goenka, avid collector and supporter of art is the Founder, Director of the festival, while Dr Vikram Sampath, a Bangalore-based historian is the Festival Director.
